“Ohana”, the Hawaiian word meaning family, has a deeper meaning. It embodies the idea that family goes beyond blood ties, to encompass friends and loved ones. The 'ohana' spirit encourages solidarity, mutual support and shared responsibility. It is an expression of the idea that everyone is linked to each other, forming an interdependent unit.
